Designed by Europ’e highly acclaimed automotive designer Peter Schreyer, the much awaited new forte has finally arrived on Malaysian shores.
Combining the lates technology in term of design, functionality and safety features, the standart Forte model comes equipped with anti lock breaking system (ABS),dual front seat airbags and electro chromic rear view mirror which helps to reduce headlight glares.
The lates model form Naza kia was unveiled at it’s official launching by SM Nasarudin SM Nasimuddin,group executive chairman and CEO of the Naza Group of companies in a simple ceremoney held at Pavilion Kuala LUmpur on Nov 25.
Also present were Kia Motors Corporation (Asia Regional Office) managing director Lee See II and Naza Kia chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Ismail among others.
Trouted as Kia’s best designed car thus far the sleek Forte is available in three models 1.6EX,1.6SX and 2.0SX
The SX variant offers improved driving stability and car handling with the electronic stability control (ESC) pack
It is equipped with the electronic brake distribution (EBD), cornering brake control (CBC), brake assist system (BAS) and traction control system.
This model also features the supervision Cluster which provides better visibility for safe manoeveringm as well as the ergonomically designed telescopic steering column with adjustable height and distance.
It is also equipped with exchanged climate control system which incair-conditioning. The SC windshields are also coated with protective ultra violet tints to filter out harmful sunrays and increasing air-conditioning efficiency.
Meanwhile, the Forte 2.0 FX comes with the poweful Theta II 2.0 DOHC CVVT engine, which is capable of achieving 156 PS horsepower and a high of 194 Nm torque. It comes with a premium leather package six airbags and motor Driven Power steering system (MDPS) which enchances steering stability and further reducing fuel consumption…
